Dr. Jon Dominique, DC, FACO

Dr. Dominique is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences, a 100-year-old institution renowned for its dedication to the health sciences. While at National, Dr. Dominique was an active member of student government, serving as Class Representative and Student Council President. He participated in a variety of organizations and extracurricular activities including the Student American Chiropractic Association. In addition, Dr. Dominique was the first intern from National University to be selected for an internship at the renowned National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD under the tutelage of Dr. William Morgan. Upon graduation, Dr. Dominique was awarded the “Dr. Joseph Janse Award” for most outstanding graduate.

Prior to attending National University, Dr. Dominique graduated from the University of Toledo (Ohio) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at National University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Dominique has focused his post-graduate continuing education on pursuing a Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics. Chiropractic Orthopedics is a specialized field of chiropractic medicine that provides non-operative alternatives to surgical orthopedic healthcare relative to the treatment of disorders of the human spine and extremities. Dr. Dominique completed his post doctoral examination in October of 2011 and is currently the Vice President of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Being an avid golfer Dr. Dominique also pursued training through the renowned Titleist Performance Institute and currently is a TPI level 2 medical practitioner.

Dr. Dominique has extensive training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a multitude of different conditions from headaches to shoulder pain. He feels it is necessary to not only decrease your symptoms but also provide you with the knowledge and tools to prevent future exacerbations of your symptoms.

Dr. Dominique enjoys spending his free time with his wife Whitney and two children at many of North Carolina’s beautiful beaches. He is an avid golfer and enjoys weekend home renovation projects.
